With 25 years in the restaurant industry, Mr. Salas has plenty of experience to take the lead in a new direction. As the CEO of Chick-N-Grill, the first Hispanic-owned certified green restaurant chain in the nation, he and his management are committed to eco-friendly practices. Mentored as a youth by the founder of Burger King, Mr. Salas turned that opportunity into a dynamic career with Pizza Hut and now this new venture.

Motivated by the desire to contribute to the future creating healthy, livable communities, Ms. Perez brings her expertise in urban planning, government policy and real estate development to responsible land use. Honored as a 2009-2010 Senior Fellow of the UCLA School of Public Affairs, she volunteers time to leadership development in the School. She also serves on the advisory board of the U.S. High Speed Rail Association.
