Jesús Chavarría's entrepreneurial career spans more than 34 years of leadership and strategic management. He founded HispanicBusiness in 1979.

HispanicBusiness, the nation's preeminent U.S. Hispanic b2b digital-publishing company, offers online news and information, research studies, and recruitment services.

A leader and advocate for Hispanic-owned small businesses and social entrepreneurs, Mr. Chavarría has received numerous professional distinctions for pioneering the growth and recognition of Hispanic enterprises nationwide. His awards and honors include the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Association of Hispanic Advertising Agencies and Business Journalist of the Year from the Small Business Administration. In 2006, Mr. Chavarría was inducted into the Minority Business Hall of Fame and Museum.

He holds a doctorate in history from the University of California, Los Angeles and has served on the faculties of the University of Wisconsin and the University of California, Santa Barbara.

As editor and publisher of HispanicBusiness, Mr. Chavarría remains dedicated to publishing innovative branded content, which began in 1983 with the debut of the company's HispanicBusiness 500 listings.

In addition to HispanicBusiness, Mr. Chavarría founded HispanTelligence, the company's research arm, which delivers targeted reports and strategic marketing services. He also launched HireDiversity.com, a full-spectrum database and job board that links underrepresented candidates with the nation's top corporations.

Bill Krutzen has nearly two decades of experience in the vocational, educational and adaptive technology arenas. A former educator, teacher trainer and vocational counselor, he is director of operations for HispanicBusiness, including HireDiversity.com.

Mr. Krutzen began his career as an educator in 1984, after serving as a master teacher and educational trainer specializing in behavioral and adaptive technology. He has worked with California's Employment Development Department and served as a vocational counseling specialist for the County of Santa Barbara Workforce Resource Center.

Mr. Krutzen holds a Master of Education degree and a Bachelor of Arts in developmental psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He joined HispanicBusiness in 2000.
