New Law Seeks Hispanic Representation on Arkansas School Boards
A new law that goes into effect this week will change the meager Hispanic representation on Arkansas school boards, school officials predict. The law requires that school districts reflect students' ethnic diversity on their school boards, a requirement that will force a change in the process of electing new board members.
