Lynda Carter did not take kindly to Megan Fox's recent trashing of character in the 70s series, 'Wonder Woman.'
Ms. Fox was being considered for a role in a remake of 'Wonder Woman'--until she told a British newspaper reporter that "Wonder Woman is a lame hero. She flies around in her invisible jet and her weaponry is a lasso that makes you tell the truth. I just don't get it."
No doubt the idea of fighting supervillains who transform themselves into automobiles is much more believable to the 23-year-old.
In any case, Lynda Carter said she was not pleased with Ms. Fox's remarks, and said in no uncertain terms that Fox should not "trash" her former character.
Ms. Carter played the role of Wonder Woman from 1975 - 1979. She has also appeared on 'Starsky & Hutch' and 'Matt Helm.' Her movie credits include 'Bobbie Jo and the Outlaw,' 'Super Troopers,' 'Sky High' and 'The Dukes of Hazzard.'
