The college's Minority Engineering & Computer Science Programs (MEP) office is an affiliate of the National Action Council for Minorities in Engineering (NACME), the National Association for Multicultural Engineering Program Advocacy (NAMEPA), and the Florida-Georgia Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation in Engineering and Science (FG-LSAMP). Through these networks, undergraduate and graduate students are connected with scholarships, internships, research, professional development, and employment opportunities. The MEP office also advises chapters of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE). In a recent survey of graduating master's and doctoral engineering and computer science students, 92.8 percent rated their graduate experience at UCF as positive.

Both Stanford University and the School of Engineering aspire to be as multicultural as they are multidisciplinary. Under the direction of Associate Dean Dr. Noe Lozano, Stanford Engineering's administration seeks to enhance and support diversity within the school through its Engineering Diversity Programs office. The Stanford Society of Chicano Latino Engineers and Scientists boasts more than 100 members. The university is home to 21 Latino, Chicano and Hispanic student organizations that engage in activities ranging from community outreach to cultural celebrations.

With its top-ranked graduate programs, close proximity to Latin America, and a vibrant Hispanic community in the city, the University of Texas at Austin provides Hispanic students a high-quality degree in a familiar environment. Through the university's membership in the National Consortium for Graduate Degrees for Minorities in Engineering and Science, Inc. (GEM), Hispanic graduate students receive financial support that allows them to remain focused on their studies. The active student chapter of the Society for Hispanic Professional Engineers also welcomes graduate students for professional development and social networking. As a result, many of the college's more than 500 Hispanic graduates work at the highest level of industry and government.
