THE CURTAIN CLUB
The Curtain Club is the bar of The Ritz-Carlton, Berlin and provides seating for up to 60 guests with an interior design resembling a style of a British Gentlemen-Club, which has a working fireplace. It is the perfect place for cocktail connoisseurs in Berlin to enjoy a relaxed evening in an elegant ambiance. Named after the heavy curtains which separate the bar from the lobby, The Curtain Club is more than simply a bar. Bar Manager Arnd Heissen and his team offer affordable drinks, tasty bar food and creating every cocktail the guest would like to have, even if they are unknown. On the stroke of six the curtains open the view to the bar announced and celebrated by a real Beefeater. The cocktails are all worth a try.
TEA LOUNGE
The Tea Lounge is the meeting place of the luxury hotel, offering a relaxed yet refined ambiance. Part of the appeal of the Tea Lounge is its full range of drink offerings, especially teas. If somebody prefers a specially prepared tea, coffee or even a cocktail the service team has some very good selections. Clearly the centre-piece is the daily afternoon tea from 02.00 p.m. to 06.00 p.m. which consists of freshly baked scones, finely cut sandwiches, jam and clotted cream as well as a range of delicate pastries -- served together with a choice of over 40 fresh tea varieties. The unique service of two TeaMasters® make the stay at the Tea Lounge perfect.
Guestrooms with Schinkel-Inspired Artwork
To further reflect the influence of Prussian architect Schinkel, each of the 303 guestrooms, except The Ritz-Carlton Apartment, and suites at The Ritz-Carlton is distinguished by original watercolors being created by Professor Markus Luepertz, a German artist highly noted for his 20th century neo-expressionism style. His works, entitled "Homage a Schinkel" come from the architect's original design sketchbooks. To accommodate the needs of hotel guests with specific allergies, The Ritz-Carlton has allocated two rooms for those requiring rooms certified as environmentally free of products and substances which can provoke health-related problems. From special pillows to carpet free flooring, these rooms reflect the concerns of Ritz-Carlton for the comfort and well bring of all its guests. Another feature of The Ritz-Carlton is The Club Level, located on the 10th and 11th floor of the hotel. The Club Level rooms offer a variety of special amenities and services, as well as added security and privacy. The Club Lounge includes large windows overlooking the Sony Center and Tiergarten.
MEETING SPACE FOR EVERY OCCASION
Whether for an ornate wedding or an important board meeting, the meeting rooms and conference facilities at The Ritz-Carlton are exceptional. The Grand Ballroom has ceilings of 18 feet high and includes 9,800 square feet. Total meeting space, including a handsomely appointed Boardroom, is 19,370 square feet. A Business Center is nearby to assist travelers with any office needs from email to translation services.
