Start off with a choice of seared scallops or an Addiction salad as the first course, followed by grilled New York strip, pan-seared polenta or roasted Atlantic salmon as the main entree. For dessert, choose from the Addiction bread pudding or the chocolate molten cake.

The Resort on Mount Charleston offers a Valentine's room and four-course dinner package on Feb. 14, priced at $214 per couple. Guests can choose a standard king or two queen guest room and a special four-course dinner for two, featuring an 18-ounce bone-in rib-eye, sea bass Oscar and Champagne chicken. Enjoy a raspberry mousse heart with chocolate-covered strawberries for dessert. Seating times are available at 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., reservations required. Dinner for two is $130 or the Valentine's Day room rates start at $134 per couple.

The Golden Grill at Gold Spike celebrates the holiday with a special four-course dinner for two available every Friday and Saturday during February, plus Feb. 14. Your meal starts with a Cupid's appetizer platter to share, followed by a salad for two. For the main course, enjoy an eight-ounce New York steak and shrimp scampi with your choice of a potato and assorted vegetables, plus a shared dessert. Dinner is $19.99.

The Firelight Buffet at Sam's Town offers a special Valentine's Day Menu priced at $12.99 per person, served from 4 p.m. to close. In addition to normal offerings, the Valentine's menu will feature a carving station with prime rib and turkey breast, roulades of chicken, pork, osso bucco and linguini with seafood scampi. Desserts include a chocolate fountain with fresh fruits and Bavarian cream puffs, 10 flavors of hand-scooped ice cream, fresh baked pies, cakes, cookies, pastries and fruit cobbler. The meal includes a glass of Champagne.

Billy Bob's Steak House and Saloon at Sam's Town offers a Valentine's menu for $25, served from 5 p.m. to close. Enjoy menu items such as a choice of sweetheart steak and seared scallops, blackened ahi filet and sauteed chicken chateau. The meal includes a house soup or salad, baked potato or rice and Billy's bread basket. Desserts include a choice of chocolate mousse torte, red velvet cake or ice cream du jour.

Willy and Jose's Cantina at Sam's Town offers a special meal from 5 p.m. to close. Entrees include Willy's Surf & Turf ($22).

La Parilliada offers a mixed grill for two ($27.50) and house-made banana bread pudding with pineapple sauce, vanilla ice cream and cinnamon crisps ($7).

Redwood Bar & Grill at Sam's Town offers a special menu from 5:30 p.m. to close featuring a grilled shrimp appetizer served in an artichoke with light Cajun sauce for $10, Chilean sea bass wrapped in spinach and phyllo dough on top of a mango puree with a grand marnier glaze and served with asparagus plus a house salad, choice of potato and bananas foster cheesecake for $35.

Pasta Pirate at Sam's Town offers a Valentine's Day dinner for $25, served from5:30 p.m. to close. Begin with an appetizer of bruschetta with shrimp, tarragon and arugula. Next, enjoy sauteed shrimp, scallops and clams, accompanied by tri-colored bell peppers with applewood-smoked bacon over fettuccini in a light basil cream sauce. For dessert, enjoy cappuccino cheesecake drizzled with hazelnut liqueur.
