Strip House offers a special a la carte kataifi-wrapped crisp shrimp ($21) with chopped avocado, cucumber and flying fish roe or Bufala mozzarella and braised artichoke salad ($19) topped with a sun dried tomato vinaigrette and artichoke chips. Entrees include Surf and Turf ($58), eight-ounce filet mignon and broiled lobster or a 14-ounce Bone-In Filet ($54). Enjoy a warm red berry cake ($10) with roasted strawberries, raspberries and white chocolate ice cream for dessert.
TAO presents a Valentine's Day prix fixe menu for $55 per person. The first course selections include chilled shibumi oysters; a trio of shibumi oysters served with blood orange mignonette, pickled fresh turmeric and ginger flowers; or lobster risotto. Main course options include a dry-aged prime sirloin with maitake mushrooms, Japanese potato, roasted chestnuts and caramelized pearl onions or day boat black bass with roasted baby artichokes, golden beets and shiso lime vinaigrette. Dessert is a gluten-free velvet cake.
Executive Chef Rick Giffen has created special menus for the Top of the World Restaurant and McCall's Heartland Grill at the Stratosphere. Top of the World offers a gourmet four-course couples menu beginning with a lobster mango ceviche shooter, followed by a choice of starters including winter melon soup with speck, Peruvian scallops and oyster accompanied by soba noodle, baby bok choy and enoki mushroom or artisan lettuce with roasted rhubarb and strawberry. For dessert, enjoy a chocolate tres leches accompanied by raspberry cotton candy and passion fruit sorbet and tropical fruit brunoise. The menu is $180 per couple.
The newly opened McCall's Heartland Grill kicks off its special meal with sauteed lobster and scallop love puff appetizer served with roasted red pepper cream. The featured entree is a grilled trio, including pistachio-crusted lamb chop, grilled shrimp with Valentine garlic cream, guava barbecue grilled quail served with golden raisin and pancetta risotto cake. ?For dessert, enjoy a chocolate chipotle brownie with mocha almond fudge ice cream and raspberry coulis. The meal is $49 per person, plus tax.
Ri Ra at Mandalay Place offers an a la carte menu featuring shrimp Francesca ($10.95), roasted figs and almonds ($9.95), garlic chicken "Kiss of Death" (17.95), filet Oscar ($24.95) and lobster Newburg ($24.95). For dessert, try the mini wedding cake ($7.95) or The Bride and Groom dessert ($7.95).
Cantina Laredo at Tivoli Village offers a three-course "Valentine's Especialidad" menu available Feb. 9-16. The menu is priced at $35 per person, with an option for a $15 additional cocktail pairing. The first course includes a choice of ensalada de mango or sopa de pimiento, served with a white honey sangria. For the second course, choose from enchiladas de cangrejo, codorniz con cirulela or filet pasilla paired with passion fruit margarita. For dessert, choose between strawberry bunuelos or churros with chocolate rasberry sauce with Grand Mariner cajeta to dip, paired with the Heart Warmer cocktail featuring Corazon Anejo, Bailey's and coffee.
The Artisan offers a Valentine's Day dinner menu priced at $99 a couple. The three-course meal begins with a choice between coriander-crusted ahi tuna or poached and chilled lobster. The second course offers a choice of a blue crab cake or fresh gorgonzola and sundried tomato ravioli. For the main course, enjoy Colorado rack of lamb, seared petite filet mignon or seared sea scallops and Baja shrimp with fettuccini pasta. Dessert is a six-layer white chocolate mousse for two.
