Upon its continuous penetration of emerging markets, TCL has established an extensive network in South America. Currently the company runs offices in Brazil and Argentina, and has business operations in Chile and Venezuela. In the South American market, TCL forecasts a 50% year-on-year sales growth for its flat-panel TVs this year. Thanks to its successful strategic development in the global market, TCL has posted record performance overseas. In the first half of 2012, under increased investments to market its brand in foreign markets, TCL delivered 31,390,000 units of LCD TVs outside of China at a year-on-year growth of 108.4%, an increase higher than the industry standard. In the first six months of the year, the company sold 1,820,000 units of LCD TVs in emerging foreign markets -- an important point of growth for TCL -- at a 103.9% growth over the same period last year.
