U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida headlined a low-profile, high-dollar Tulsa fundraiser for presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney at the Doubletree Hotel Downtown on Tuesday.

Approximately 150 people, believed to have paid a minimum of $500 each, attended the invitation-only luncheon. Among those present were U.S. Sen. Tom Coburn, R-Okla., who introduced Rubio, and U.S. Reps. John Sullivan and James Lankford, both Oklahoma Republicans.

The next Federal Election Commission report is expected to show Romney shattering the record $2 million raised in Oklahoma by 2008 GOP nominee John McCain.

GOP officials, meanwhile, announced Tuesday that Rubio will introduce Romney at the Republican National Convention later this month.
