Located at the gateway to Latin America, the University of Miami offers strong educational opportunities in a global community, serving as a major center for Latin American and Caribbean business studies. The school's professors publish extensively in top-tier journals, act as consultants to Fortune 500 companies, and have worldwide reputations. Upon graduation, University of Miami students become part of the sixth-largest alumni network in the country. The University of Michigan Business School recruits Hispanic MBA students through a continued partnership with the Consortium for Graduate Studies in Management, and representation at the National Society of Hispanic MBAs' and the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers' annual conferences. The school also has partnered with the Robert Toigo Foundation, Management Leadership for Tomorrow, and companies to create awareness and encourage Hispanics to consider graduate management studies. The Michigan Business School continues to have a strong recruiting presence in Latin America through information sessions and receptions, and the school has been recognized by the Wall Street Journal as the top school for recruiting minority talent. Hispanic students are supported while on-campus through the Hispanic and Latino Business Students Association.
