The Yale School of Management recruits Hispanic MBA students through the MBA Diversity Alliance with other top business schools across the country, MBA Minority Workshops, and in partnership with the National Society of Hispanic MBAs. Support organizations on campus include the Hispanic MBA Advisory Council, the Latin America Student Interest Group, and La Casa Cultural at Yale. The school is a participant in Management Leadership for Tomorrow, a program that provides support and information to prospective minority MBA candidates as they prepare for the graduate-school application process. In 2004, the school was selected as a partner school by the Robert Toigo Foundation, an organization dedicated to the advancement of minority MBAs in the finance industry. The foundation provides to students scholarships, mentoring, and additional assistance with internships and job placement. "What distinguishes the Yale MBA program is the emphasis we put on creating a rich and highly personal learning experience that begins with our students," says Nicole Lindsay, associate director of the school's Admissions & Student Affairs. "We look for MBA students from a broad range of backgrounds and with widely differing experiences who will stimulate each other to grow, both intellectually and professionally."
