Ms. Martinez was named corporate vice president of the Communications and Mobile Solutions Unit at Microsoft Corp. in September 2003, making her the first Hispanic female to be named a corporate vice president at the company. Previously, Ms. Martinez was CEO of software vendor Embrace Networks, and a vice president and general manager at Motorola.




Carmen Nava

Ms. Nava is responsible for all consumer sales and customer service in California and Nevada. Her 19-year career with the telecommunications conglomerate has included technology management, billing operations, marketing, external affairs, and human resources. Ms. Nava is also a member of the Board of Governors for the USC Alumni Association.




Hilda Ochoa-Brillembourg

In 1987, Ms. Ochoa-Brillembourg founded Strategic Investment Group, a financial consulting firm for institutional investors. She also serves as managing director at the global investment fund Emerging Markets Management. Previously, Ms. Ochoa-Brillembourg served as chief investment officer for the Pension Investment Division at the World Bank. Current board seats include General Mills, Harvard Management Co., and the World Bank/International Monetary Fund Credit Union.




Patricia Pliego Stout

Ms. Stout established her San Antonio-based company in 1982, growing it into a corporate, leisure, federal and state travel service provider with contracts in multiple states. She was appointed commissioner for the Texas Board of Licensing and Regulation, and is the International Relations Vice Chair for the Texas Association of Mexican American Chambers of Commerce. Current board seats include the National Women Business Council, The Society of Government Travel Professionals, and the National Association of Women Business Owners.




Gloria Santona

As executive vice president and general counsel, Ms. Santona oversees and manages McDonald's Corp.'s global legal functions, which include more than 100 attorneys in 25 countries. Ms. Santona is a member of the company's senior management team, as well as a member of the American and Chicago Bar Associations. Ms. Santona was formerly chair of the Corporate Board of Advisors of the Hispana Leadership Institute.
