Columbia Business School is widely acknowledged as one of the world's top business schools and a leader in the integration of international business throughout the MBA program. The student body is characterized by diversity of professional backgrounds, international representation, and individual demographics. In recent years, the school has boasted some of the highest percentages of women and minority students among leading business schools. The Hispanic Business Association (HBA) provides a forum to foster the professional growth of Hispanic MBA students. The HBA's membership is a blend of students from throughout the United States as well as Latin America and the Caribbean who strongly identify with and desire to maintain strong ties to their Latino culture. HBA works with the school's admissions office to recruit Hispanic students. The Latin American Business Association (LABA) is currently one of the most active student organizations at Columbia Business School, with more than 170 members from all over the world. Each year, LABA coordinates a conference on business opportunities and trends in Latin America featuring prestigious members from the United States and Latin America.

The Chapman School at Florida International University is South Florida's most important center for graduate business education and research, particularly in international business and information technology (IT) management. A unit within the College of Business Administration, it enrolls about 1,100 students per year in its Ph.D. and ten master's programs and serves a sizeable constituency through its executive education programs. The Chapman School is founded on the philosophy and practices embodied by Alvah H. Chapman Jr. - leadership, integrity, humanitarianism, and civic engagement.
