UFC's Brock Lesnar may be back sooner than expected, according to his trainers.
Although they were not specific about the timetable, the optimism was good news for UFC and Lesnar, the sport's top draw.
Lesnar, the UFC heavyweight champion hasn't fought since his convincing TKO victory over Frank Mir last year. In late 2009 he was diagnosed with diverticulitis, a bacterial infection in his intestine.
Lesnar had surgery and, according to his coaches, the illness might not but an end to his career, as has been speculated.
Lesnar competed in the WWE before joining mixed martial arts' top brand.
