Can you live without money? Daniel Suelo can. And his story is sweeping the Web.
After Details Magazine this month published the story of the modern-day caveman, Suelo's popularity has gone from the darkness of a cave to the bright lights of mainstream media.
According to media reports, Suelo lives without money, and eats off the land. Suelo earned a degree in anthropology in 1987, but in 2000 gave up his job to a simpler life.
He chronicles his story on a his daily blog, which he writes for free at a local library in Colorado.
Suelo, 48, told Details that he has no problem living the rest of his live inside a cave, where the mice crawl on his body at night.
"I'll do what creatures have been doing for millions of years for retirement," he says. "Why is it sad that I die in the canyon and not in the geriatric ward well-insured?"
