McDonalds' McCafe Promotion: Free Coffee When it's Needed Most...Mondays

Beginning today, McDonald's is giving away free small mochas in order to promote its line of McCafe beverages. Customers can pick up a 7-ounce iced mocha or an 8-ounce hot mocha from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at participating locations. The promotion lasts through August 3 and is one of the largest nation-wide promotions the burger joint has ever done.

McDonald's began serving their branded "Premium Roast Coffee" in 2006 and has since expanded in hopes of competing with other popular coffee chains, such as Tim Hortons, Dunkin' Donuts and Starbucks.
