While the hottest shows on television are of the reality variety (American Idol, Dancing With the Stars, etc.), it appears that a channel devoted to such programming is not in the cards for now -- at least not for Fox.
It was announced today that the News Corp.-owned Fox Reality Channel would cease operations as of March 31, 2010. The channel's resources will be redirected toward "emerging channels," according to the company.
The decision brings to an end the channel's four-year run of original and repeat reality programming.
