The UA has several initiatives in place to recruit and retain students from culturally diverse backgrounds. Our diversity efforts begin as early as elementary school and continue through medical school. We have a long history of developing physicians who are committed to rural and under-served communities, and providing unique opportunities along the border region, including exchange programs and medical Spanish and medical English courses.
