The White Memorial Medical Center Named Ray Morales, MD the Vice President of Medical Affairs. Mr. Morales previously worked at WellPoint Health Networks, Inc. as medical director of quality management, director of social investment programs, regional vice president, and national medical director for national accounts. Previously, Mr. Morales spent 17 years as and OB/GYN physician in a private practice.

At White Memorial, where Mr. Morales was born, his responsibilities will include serving as a liaison between the medical staff and the hospital administration, providing leadership to improve clinical quality, and working with physicians to improve the efficiency of hospital care.

David Prada is the new director of project development at Lemartec Engineering and Construction Corporation. In addition to contributing to new business development, Mr. Prada will provide his design and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design certified project expertise to company clients.

During his years as an architect, Mr. Prada has worked extensively in the public sector, including projects with elementary schools and colleges, fire departments, and county governments. In addition to his LEED accreditation, Mr. Prada is certified in Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design, and is a uniform building code inspector.

President Eloise E. Rodriguez and Vice President Rafael L. Rodriguez accepted the South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce 2008 Up & Coming Hispanic Company of the Year award on behalf of their company, Bristol Public Relations, at the chamber's 14th annual Sunshine Awards Luncheon. "We aim to provide our clients with quality services, while also giving back to the community through involvement in civic groups and pro bono services," said Ms. Rodriguez while accepting the award.
