Diversity begins in the application process with information sessions around the United States for underrepresented audiences. The MBA Admissions office also offers the "Many Voices" weekend program for prospective candidates. In the Charles P. Bonini Partnership for Diversity fellowship program, students are placed in a nine- to 12-month internship with a participating corporate partner. Students receive a salary plus a full-tuition grant for two years. On campus, the Hispanic Business Students Association honors a Hispanic alumnus every year at its Jerry I. Porras Latino Leadership Award banquet, named for the Stanford professor and best-selling author. Last year the Business School Alumni Association introduced a Stanford Business School Hispanic Alumni Association Directory to allow Hispanic alumni to network professionally.

The Haas School fosters diversity through participation in the National Society of Hispanic MBAs, Management Leadership for Tomorrow, Riordan Fellows programs, Haas Merit Scholarships, and Haas Achievement Awards. These programs and external resources such as the Robert Toigo Foundation and Infusion scholarships ensure that students with the talent to thrive in the program have the financial support to do so. MBA applicants can attend the Haas Diversity Conference and Workshop on October 28 through 29, which will cover the value of an MBA, the Haas admissions process, curriculum, student life, and the benefits of a strong global alumni network. In the program, the Latin American and Hispanic Business Association organizes business projects, trips, and social events.

Hispanic Americans comprise 10 percent to 15 percent of each MBA class at McCombs, and many Fortune 500 corporations consider it a top school for recruiting Hispanic MBAs. Student organizations include the Hispanic Graduate Business Association and the International MBA Students Association.
