NEW YORK, May 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Wines of Chile is embarking on a six-city tour to showcase the country's premium wines from May 3 - 12. More than 200 wines will be presented to the U.S. market through a wine tasting and seminar series for America's wine trade, top restaurateurs and media. This critical mass of quality wines is the result of two decades of an unprecedented amount of investment in Chile by leading vintners around the globe.
In addition to tasting wines from Chile's distinct winegrowing regions, there will be two seminars that will demonstrate the quality and diversity of Chilean wines. The seminars will be conducted by Joshua Greene, editor and publisher of Wine & Spirits magazine and Ricardo Letelier, managing director of Wines of Chile.
"The combination of investment into Chile's winemaking practices and Chile's rich terroir has produced the finest wines in the world, "explained Mr. Letelier. "We think this tour will be an excellent way to introduce Chile's premium and super premium wines to the US."
Chilean Wines now rank among the top wines in the world. To complement the wine quality and upscale branding, the "Wines of Chile: The Next Generation" tour will be held at some of the country's best contemporary venues. They include:

(May 3rd- 11:00 am - 5:00 pm) * Thalassa, New York (May 4th- 11:00 am - 5:00 pm) * Emeril's Miami Beach (May 5th- 11:00 am - 5:00 pm) * Dallas Museum of Art, Hamon Atrium (May 9th- 11:00 am - 5:00 pm) * Millennium Park, Pritzker Pavilion Stage, Chicago (May 10th- 11:00 am - 5:00 pm) * Foreign Cinema, San Francisco (May 12th- 11:00 am - 5:00 pm)
