NEW YORK, March 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Sahara Dreams, purveyor of high-end British Colonial furniture and accessories, is expanding into Miami's Design District.

The 2,000-square-foot Design District showroom will follow the tradition of the 5,000-square-foot Sahara Dreams showroom in Coral Gables to present fully conceived design environments utilizing furniture, architectural and accent accessories and custom draperies created by Sahara Dreams' in-house design team.

"Currently, 90 percent of our customers are individuals living here and abroad who want a refined look for their homes, an ambiance of luxury and elegant comfort," says Sahara Dream president and founder Joseph Infante. "Our goal is to introduce more designers and architects to the possibilities of incorporating these classic British Colonial pieces into their visions."

Founded in 2003 by Infante and his wife, Vanessa, Sahara Dreams offers its own line of handcrafted British Colonial and custom furniture, produced in their factory in South America, as well as its signature collection of one-of- a-kind period pieces.

Architectural artifacts include arches, columns, palatial doors, façades and mirrors. The company has been featured in the Miami Herald, Florida International Magazine and Ocean Drive en Espanol. A print catalogue for the furniture line is in the works.
