CHICAGO, June 29 /PRNewswire/ -- To help promote the game of soccer in the Chicagoland community, The Room Place at Harlem Furniture is proud to announce that it will be sponsoring its first annual "Champions Cup" soccer tournament, beginning Tuesday, July 6, in Bensenville, Des Plaines and Buffalo Grove, Illinois.

The tournament will feature eight Chicago Regional League level teams who have established huge followings within the Chicagoland soccer community. The teams are from The European "Metropolitan Group" and the Spanish "CLASA Group".

The Metropolitan Group: CLASA Group: Eagles Morelia Green White National Polonia Olympico Schwaben Santos

This is a chance for fans and newcomers to soccer, along with their friends and family, to experience one of the higher levels of competitive soccer at no cost to them. Admission is free to all 18 games over the 4-week tournament period.

This inaugural season promises to be an exciting one, and will culminate with a Championship Game on August 1, at the Schwaben Athletic Club in Buffalo Grove. The winning team will receive a prize of $5,000.00.
