ORLANDO, Fla., Jan. 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- ClearSky Mobile Media, Inc., a wireless entertainment aggregator for the latest generation cellular handsets, announced today a partnership with media giant Dennis Publishing to distribute "Maxim" magazine content to wireless devices in Latin America. "Maxim" is the number one men's lifestyle magazine in the U.S., Latin America, and the world.

ClearSky's wireless repertoire, including various forms of "Maxim" entertainment, such as jokes, games, ringtones, sports information, and drink recipes, will be designed to spice up the lives of color-screen mobile phone owners in Latin America. The new content will also contain "Maxim" women from throughout Latin America.

Subscribers can use their color-screen mobile phones, Palm OS phones, or Pocket PC devices to browse through the content. The Maxim Latin Wireless content will take full advantage of the latest capabilities of the new color- screen phones now on the market. Content will be developed using content from the existing Maxim.com Web site, combined with local content from "Maxim's" Latin American publications. The mobile version has many different features that are unique for the wireless market. For example, Maxim Latin Wireless plans to offer subscribers the full color photo spreads of all the "Maxim" Latin American women (with zooming capability and "get more intimate" section), along with a library of streaming video clips that run seamlessly on devices such as the Pocket PC and the Nokia 3650 phone.

Barry Pincus, manager of brand development, Dennis Publishing, says, "We are extremely excited to bring the content of "Maxim" Latin America into the wireless market with the help of ClearSky Mobile Media. We believe the potential of the mobile phone market in Latin America is extraordinary."

"The power of the 'Maxim' brand never ceases to amaze me," stated Dean Fresonke, ClearSky's CEO. "Anywhere I go, people immediately recognize the 'Maxim' name. 'Maxim' Magazine will be a tremendous vehicle for wireless multimedia messaging in Latin America."

Carriers interested in offering Maxim Latin Wireless to their offerings should contact ClearSky Mobile Media directly.
