NEW YORK, June 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Barcelona-based Cyberclick Agent, Spain's leading digital media company, has launched an exciting new mobile video-based entertainment application with Telefonica Moviles Espana (TME), the Spanish subsidiary of Telefonica Moviles Group, using helloNetwork's Java(TM)-based mobile video technology, helloMobile.
Cyberclick Agent's "Video Descargas" are now available for download at TME's MoviStar e-mocion site and are priced at 1.50 euro per clip. This deployment represents Telefonica Moviles Group's second launch with helloMobile technology and demonstrates its continuing commitment to serving the Spanish market as the first, and currently only, operator to offer video services.
The first week's results exceeded expectations, and Cyberclick Agent now plans to deliver three new clips per week through TME. "The strong adoption rates already experienced by TME, coupled with the entertaining applications created by Cyberclick and its content partners, clearly point to another successful deployment," said helloNetwork CEO Victor Siegel.
"We are very excited to use the top Java-based mobile technology by helloNetwork, and we're sure this technology will receive great adoption in the European market," said Cyberclick Agent CEO Tamotsu Kamata.
Cyberclick Agent has licensed the helloMobile Encoder Appliance, helloNetwork's automated content preparation, application packaging, and delivery solution for the mobile market. Cyberclick Agent used the MobileVideoDownload(TM) application to create "Video Descargas" for Nokia Series 60 devices. iMode handset deployments are expected to launch later this year with the introduction of new Doja 1.5 Java-enabled terminals.
