Wall Street Journal: Business in Hispanic Areas Proves More Resilient Than Elsewhere

Despite the current economic climate in the U.S., business in areas where there is a Hispanic majority has proved comparatively immune to the downturn. Income growth in the Latino community has been fuelled by favorable demographic trends - the community has grown at a substantially faster rate than the national average, and the majority of Hispanics are in their highest-income-growth years.
