Mimi Valdés
| Editor-in-Chief Vibe Magazine Ms. Valdés joined the urban culture magazine in 1993 as an editorial assistant. In 1998, she became managing editor and then editor-in-chief of Blaze, a hip-hop and urban lifestyle magazine. After the company suspended publication of Blaze in 2000, Ms. Valdés was named executive editor of Vibe, and then editor-at-large. She also is co-executive producer of Vibe’s television show, Weekend Vibe. |
