Sylvia Puente
| Director, Metropolitan Chicago Initiative Notre Dame University Ms. Puente directs research and promotes community capacity building for the Chicago program at the university’s Institute of Latin Studies. She directed research for the report “Bordering the Mainstream: A Needs Assessment of the Latino Community in Berwyn and Cicero.” Previously Ms. Puente served as New Community Initiatives Director for The Resurrection Project. She joined the project after eight years at the Latino Institute, where she oversaw development of 90 publications on immigration, workforce development, and education. |
