Studies/Anthropology Columbia University Her books include Boricua Pop: Puerto Ricans and the Latinization of American Culture, winner of the 2004 CHOICE Award, and the upcoming None of the Above: Contemporary Puerto Rican Culture and Politics. Ms. Negrón-Muntaner is a founding board member and current chair of the National Association of Latino Independent Producers, and helped create NALIP's Latino Producers Academy and Latino Writers Lab. She teaches Hispanic literature at Columbia University. |
