10th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals

In 1995, he became the first Hispanic judge to sit on the 10th circuit, which covers Oklahoma, Kansas, New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, and Utah. Previously, Mr. Lucero was the first Hispanic to serve as president of the Colorado Bar Association.
