Biodiversity Program Smithsonian Institute Under his leadership the Smithsonian Biodiversity Program has trained 1,700 professional conservationists from nearly 40 countries. It monitors projects at more than 300 research sites in North America, Latin America, Africa, and Asia. Mr. Dallmeier is the author, co-author, or editor of more than 100 research publications. Between 2002 and 2003, he served as acting director of the Smithsonian Center for Latino Initiatives. |
