| President Sonoma State University Under Mr. Armiņana's leadership, this Northern California university has attracted a steady increase in private investment and has entered into numerous partnerships with businesses and public institutions in the San Francisco region. He instituted the Assured Access Program (requiring 24-hour access to computers for all students) and supported the founding of a master's degree program in Computer and Engineering Science. He is the former president of the Western College Association. |
