He chairs the Miami office's corporate and entertainment practices for Holland & Knight, the nation's fifth largest law firm. Mr. Hernandez-Toraņo represents artists such as Gloria and Emilio Estefan, Edward James Olmos, and Jon Secada. He also works for major corporate clients such as BMG Entertainment, BMG U.S. Latin, Miami Herald Publishing Co., Radio Unica, and Univision. Outside of the entertainment industry, he handles Wilke-Rodriguez, Banco Popular, and Royal Caribbean Cruiselines. He also supervises Holland & Knight's Mexico City office.
He is the founder and general counsel of the American Latin Music Association and co-founder of the United Way Entertainment Partnership, where he works to address the philanthropic interests of the entertainment industry.
