NAHREP seeks to increase Hispanic home ownership by developing Hispanic real-estate professionals. Mr. Acosta is CEO of California-based De Oro Group, one of the largest Hispanic-owned real-estate firms in the nation. He joins De Oro through the acquisition of his company SDF Realty, which last year originated more than $150 million in mortgages. He also serves on advisory committees at Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, and JP Morgan Chase.
