Rebecca Vigil-Giron
| Secretary of State State of New Mexico Ms. Vigil-Giron is the highest-ranking Hispanic woman currently holding office as a state official. As secretary of state, she is New Mexico’s chief elections officer and monitors lobbying activities and financial disclosures by candidates, in addition to registering trademarks. This year she was named president-elect of the National Association of Secretaries of State at the organization’s annual conference. She is serving her third term as New Mexico’s secretary of state. |
