Ricardo S. Sanchez
| Lieutenant General Coalition Ground Commander in Iraq, U.S. Army Mr. Sanchez is the senior U.S. commander in Iraq. He commands more than 150,000 U.S. and British troops trying to keep the peace in a contentious nation of 24 million people. He is also responsible for coordinating and overseeing security operations, including the raid the led to the death of Odai and Qusai Hussein in July. Mr. Sanchez received his third general’s star in June. |
