Daisy L. Machado
| Associate Professor Brite Divinity School at Texas Christian University Ms. Machado is associate professor of the history of Christianity and Hispanic church studies. Her expertise covers Latino theology, feminism, pentecostalism, and multiculturalism/pluralism. Last spring she was Luce Lecturer on Urban Ministry at the Harvard Divinity School. She is the first Hispanic woman ordained as a pastor in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). She previously served as program director of the Hispanic Theological Initiative at Emory University. |
