Founded in 1967, the not-for-profit organization has eight operating divisions and 180 employees, who run a low-income housing operation, a business incubator and management school, a career center, and a research office. In June Mr. Amador won the district, regional, and national Small Business Administration Minority Advocate of the Year awards. He received the Latin Business Association’s Salute to Hispanic Business award in April. |
