| Secretary of Business, Transportation, and Housing State of California Ms. Contreras-Sweet manages a budget of $12.4 billion and a workforce of more than 47,000. She spearheaded lobbying for a $6.8 billion bill aimed at traffic relief. She has championed efforts to create a Department of Managed Health Care for the medical industry. Ms. Contreras-Sweet is the first Hispanic female in California history to serve in the governor’s cabinet. |
