Chairman National Council of La Raza Mr. Villarreal’s responsibilities include an estimated $20 million fund drive to finance a new building for NCLR, based in Washington, D.C., and to fund the nonprofit group’s numerous policy and research functions. He specializes in public law as a partner in the San Antonio office of Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld LLP. Last year he served as treasurer for the Al Gore 2000 campaign. |
