| Victor S. Thomas Professor of Education Harvard University Mr. Suarez-Orozco co-directs the Harvard Immigration Project, the largest study in the history of the National Science Foundation’s cultural anthropology division. The interdisciplinary project is designed to gain perspectives on the education of Asian, Afro-Caribbean, and Hispanic immigrant children in the United States. Mr. Suarez-Orozco has authored or edited 80 essays and 10 books. His latest six-volume opus: An Interdisciplinary Perspective on the New Immigration (Garland Publishing, $750). |
