| Chief Justice New Mexico Supreme Court In January, Mr. Serna was sworn in as the only Hispanic chief justice of a state supreme court. One of his goals is to use his position to streamline court operations and improve public understanding of the judicial branch of government. Mr. Serna, a Harvard Law School graduate and former assistant state attorney general, delivered this year’s commencement address to the law school at Catholic University of America. |
