President YWCA Ms. Paez was elected president of the Young Women’s Christian Association at the organization’s 36th National Convention in July. A native of El Paso, she became the first Hispanic woman elected to that position. She also serves as director of the W.K. Kellogg Foundation Community Partnership Institute for Border Community Health Education in El Paso, a partnership of higher education institutions and community agencies that provides health services to more than 50,000 residents. |
