President/CEO Zubi Advertising Coral Gables, FL Ms. Zubizarreta runs one of the nation’s largest, independently owned Hispanic ad agencies, with annual projected billings for 2000 of $80 million. This fall, she will receive The Alexis de Tocqueville Award for Outstanding Philanthropy from the United Way of Miami-Dade County. She is the first Hispanic woman to be elected to United Way’s Board of Governors and Committee Chair. In 1999, Florida Gov. Jeb Bush appointed her advisory council to the State of Florida Film Commission, and she received the Cancer Lifeline of Mount Sinai Medical Center’s Outstanding Woman Award. |
