Senior Adviser, U.S. Secretary of Education U.S. Office of Education Washington, DC Ms. Guzman’s priorities include national efforts to improve reading and math, reduce class size, and promote the Partnership for Family Involvement in Education. She also is chair of President Clinton’s Advisory Commission on Educational Excellence for Hispanic Americans. And she serves on the on the advisory boards of the National Research Council Center for Science, Mathematics, and Engineering Education, the National Academy of Sciences, the National Science Resources Center, the Smithsonian Institute, and the National Academy of Sciences. |
