Little Rock, AR--(HISPANIC PR WIRE)--May 16, 2005--In response to a rapidly growing Hispanic population, ¡Hola! Arkansas Hispanic Media Publishing Co. is opening a Hispanic market research division to be powered by its new partner, Alternative Technology Corporation, a New York-based market research firm. -- (In Arkansas, the number of people that identified themselves as Hispanics or Latino grew 337 % from the 1990 Census to Census 2000, the second largest per-capita in the nation.)

By gathering timely data from its readers, ¡Hola! Arkansas Hispanic Media Publishing Co. will assist corporations and government agencies to further target their advertising messages based on timely market specific data. “Through our established media presence in Arkansas, we represent the pulse of the emerging Hispanic community in the country,” commented Maura Lozano-Yancy, the group publisher and president of ¡Hola! Arkansas. “By combining our reader loyalty with ATC’s customized survey platform, we can provide corporations with unprecedented access to Hispanic consumers.”

The Founder and CEO of Alternative Technology Corporation, Tom Kadala, shares Lozano-Yancy’s vision. Lozano-Yancy, said, “¡Hola! Arkansas was created to meet and surpass the objectives of promoting and strengthening collaboration, exchange and understanding among people who were born in the United States and those who have immigrated. The respect and professionalism we have achieved since our first issue in October 2000 demonstrates our commitment to serving the entire Arkansas community.”

As part of an introductory process ¡Hola! Arkansas is inviting its readers to participate in an auto preference survey printed in its last issue.
