U.S. Hispanic website visitors showed more interest in Yahoo and less in Facebook in 2013.
Total unique U.S. Hispanic website visitors increased 11.5 percent from September 2012 to September 2013, moving from 26.67 million to 29.72 million, according to comScore Media Metrix.
Yahoo sites made the biggest move in terms of audience, up an impressive 38.3 percent from 18.16 million unique visitors in 2012 to 25.12 million in 2013. Yahoos reach into the U.S. Hispanic market increased from 68.1 percent to 84.5 percent.
Moving in the other direction was Facebook. Although its total unique visitors increased from 18.66 million to 19.22 million, Facebooks reach into this market decreased from 70 percent to 64.7 percent.
Newcomer Glam Media, a Silicon Valley-based consumer media platform with sites such as Glam.com and Foodie.com, placed at No. 7 on the list with 10.19 million unique U.S. Hispanic visitors.
