Planet Technologies, UT-Battelle Assigned Patent

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 4 -- Planet Technologies, Germantown, Maryland, and UT-Battelle, Oak Ridge, Tennessee, has been assigned a patent (8,825,710) developed by four co-inventors for a "cloud computing method for dynamically scaling a process across physical machine boundaries." The co-inventors are Robert E. Gillen, Knoxville, Tennessee, Robert M. Patton, Knoxville, Tennessee, Thomas E. Potok, Oak Ridge, Tennessee, and Carlos C. Rojas, Chicago.
