Event to Explore Impact of Future Technologies on International Development

DURHAM, N.C., Sept. 4 -- FHI 360 issued the following news release:

On September 15th, FHI 360 will convene leaders and scientists in the fields of artificial intelligence, nanotechnology and other cutting-edge technologies with international development experts to discuss the implications of future technology on democracy, media and human rights. The event, titled Miles Beyond Mobiles: Technology in Democracy and Governance in 2025, will look beyond current, widely used technologies to think about what is possible and transformative in the next decade.
